Original artwork description:

Between Dunstanburgh Castle and Newton-By-The-Sea I started to paint this view of newly ploughed fields off Embleton Bay. As always in Northumberland, the incredible light and sunbursts created a wave of different colours and tones. I wanted to capture a wilder side of what was a very graphic view of the tractor trails cutting the ploughed fields.

Materials used:

acrylic on hardboard
