Original artwork description:

It all began when I first laid eyes on a photograph from the 1970s. It was as if it had opened a door to the past, inviting me on a captivating journey through time. Spending a considerable amount of time examining every detail of the photograph, I began to recreate it on canvas.
The initial brushstrokes felt like a voyage through time – they slowly transported me to an era when the city appeared different, when cars and buildings carried the essence of that epoch. Each stroke brought a new fragment of the past to the surface of the canvas.
Meticulously, I transferred every detail onto the canvas – every building contour, every metallic detail on the car. The carefully chosen shades of paint, meant to capture the atmosphere of that time, seemed to emerge from the depths of my imagination.
While in the process of painting, I felt the memories and experiences of those who lived in those years come alive in my imagination. I transported myself to their world, their everyday life, attempting to capture the spirit and mood of those times on the canvas.
Every brushstroke, every hue – everything was thought out with precision. I wanted to convey an atmosphere of tranquility yet vibrant street life of those days. The mountain on the horizon symbolized enduring strength and the grandeur of nature, while the red car represented not only the speed of time but also the timeless beauty of antiquity.
This painting became my way of offering people the chance to glimpse into the past, to feel like a part of that era. I wanted you to look at it and see more than just a picture – to see history, feel emotions, and experience nostalgia for times long gone but still held in our hearts.
