Oddity is an imaginative painting that utilizes textures and a touch of symbolism to achieve an effect. Incidentally it's two trees fusing into each other so there are slightly different shades on left and right of the quirky guitar body. One of a series of semi surreal guitar based paintings that meld some of the elements of music and nature that inspire and energize me.

Music takes me to places I've been before and sometimes to places I've not yet been. It can take me wandering on distant shores or for a walk in the woods and forests or out onto the hills. It's a time machine. It evokes memories and emotions. It inspires. It heals. It gives me energy. It takes me to other worlds. And sometimes it leads me to oddities such as this painting!
