This still life took me some time to create. It is painted in layering technique that requires for the layer to dry before you put the next one - very meticulous and delicate technique so very different from what I usually do. I love the result - this still life makes me think of beautiful peaceful mornings I have in my summer house..I would say it's one of the most personal paintings since a while. There is a lot of colours optically mixing in it creating beautiful vibrations. Also I love the challenge of painting white on white.
Oil on 35X35 cm oil paper, that imitates the surface of a canvas. At the same time unlike canvas boards or gallery wrapped canvases paper is really easy to frame and weighs nothing.
Signed on the front and back.
Shipped in a reinforced envelope.
