Original artwork description:

Original oil painting of the view from Carmel River Beach towards Point Lobos. I was inspired by the complex maze of intersecting shapes and lines, formed by the Carmel River at the exact point where it flows into the ocean, the sandy beach, the sandbar splitting the river, and the shores and distant mountains beyond Point Lobos Nature Reserve one fine October morning.

Materials used in creating this artwork: Professional quality oil paint on Oil-Primed Linen on ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) panel. ACM panel consists of two strong sheets of aluminum bonded to a solid polyethylene core. The panel is coated on one side with a white polyester coil coating and a mill (polished aluminum) finish on the other side. ACM art panels offer a superior support for painting and mounting because ACM panels are virtually unaffected by environmental changes, such as relative humidity (RH) and temperature.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of Gamvar varnish. It is listed unframed, and will need a frame to display on the wall. Images showing the artwork framed in home interiors are for presentation of framing ideas only. Frame is not included.
