Before moving home to north east Aberdeenshire in early 2017, I made many trips to the New Forest, Hampshire in pursuit of the Ridge Trees project which concentrated on a specific area of the Forest.

All the photographs in the project are concerned with mist, autumn or winter and were made at the cusp of dawn.

The Forest is transformed by mist especially when seen through a plantation of beautifully straight pines unencumbered by high bracken and undergrowth. The mist softens and filters the light.

I print on Fotospeed 315gsm fine art paper with Epson Ultrachrome® K3 inks. This is a beautiful acid free matt finish paper with a subtle surface texture that wonderfully compliments the photograph.

I will send the photograph flat packed. The print, in a clear acid free sleeve, is secured between two mounting boards for protection before being placed in a strong envelope. This protects the print from being creased and from corner damage.

The print is signed, numbered and dated on reverse. Please contact me at the time of purchase if you wish for a signature on the front.

Photographs posted within the UK are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery which usually arrive the next day after dispatch before 1pm.

Photographs sent outside the UK are usually sent via UPS to ensure a smooth transit through customs and usually arrive within a week from dispatch.
