This is the view from my studio in the Auvergne mountains, in the very heart of France. I like studying it at all hours, in all weathers and all seasons. I am particularly lured by the beauty of the subtle and muted colours of dawn and dusk.
Here I painted the dawn. I particularly like this time because it is as if every morning I were witnessing the birth of colours.

Materials used:

This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
