In this painting I have tried to portray the tranquility, atmosphere and mood of the wild and remote mountain lakes or tarns, surrounded by rugged rocky scenery.
Painted in a contemporary gestural style with a palette knife and fingers.

Painted using quality artists oils on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a gloss varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
