Ochre Luminance has a wonderful harmony of subdued colours, combining subtle blends and rugged texture. This is combined with minimal hotspots of colour to make the painting sing. Paul has painted Ochre Luminance with a sense of place, but could come from anywhere in the memory. A hebridean beach, cornish shimmering coastal sand flat. Wherever. Painted in acrylic on quality box canvas with mediums and structure pastes.
