I had a really fun time painting this piece - it was the last painting for my January 2016's "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge and I was jumping for joy to have been able to complete the project. 2 weeks earlier I had contracted pneumonia and didn't think I'd be able to paint at all for a few weeks, least of all catch up and complete the challenge! But I did and this little upbeat peace hopefully projects the happiness I was feeling.

While the title may bring emotional feelings of longing for some, for me it is a joyful piece reflecting love between two parties no matter how many miles separate the physical people. No matter the distance, love can endure!
