Original artwork description:

In December 2017 I went on a trip to Southampton and could not believe my eyes of the beautiful scenery- the boats, buildings, riverside etc. that I saw. I made some sketches in my sketch book but later decided to take pictures. This happens to be the first of my series of Southampton riverside paintings. I started with a sketch on the canvas and using some bristle brushes of various sizes i blocked every part of the canvas with colours. I re-sketched the drawing again with a thin sable brush using black colour. After I used the painting and palette knives to paint and this has been the outcome.
