Inspired by my daughter's American doll collection, this still life painting was created with oil on a 16x20" oil primed linen canvas and features a nostalgic childhood theme of first loves and memories. The placement of the "American Girl Collection" doll and her teddy bear, blocks, and plate all contribute to the sweet, story-like composition.
