One of my most memorable photo shoots. The aim of the mission was to see this Sea Stack engulfed in a giant wave.
It wasn't easy! Arriving in the dark, first a climb up a very steep hill, a long walk through an Army range, a chalk path made it easier to navigate in the feint glimmer of first twilight, all in the midst of a violent storm. Patience was needed to wait for the biggest of the waves to totally cover the 40 foot high Sea Stack.
Conditions were immense and I shot a wide range of different images. Several appear here on Artfinder.

Please note that it is a colour image, but my adjustments make it look like a heavily toned Black and White image.

Giclee print using Canon Lucia Pro Pigment inks on Heavyweight Fine Art matte paper
