Original artwork description:

Ocean Elixir was painted through intuition and memory with the aim of suggesting the wonderful feel of a shimmering mediterranean ocean and outcrops of cliff. Very fluid layers of acrylic and medium were applied over base layers of texture and base colour, building up the effect of sun, heat and shimmering waters. At 95cm square with smart 7cm white tray frame, it makes quite a statement on the wall. Part of a series of canvasses.

Materials used:

acrylic
