What you are seeing is a copystand image of the framed photograph, the actual photograph looks much better! I have cropped it to where there is a black slip around the edge of the matt, and has not been re-touched.
This is a 24"x 20" hand printed photograph, 3 of 125, it has been deliberately printed dark and then bleached back and then toned, this gives it rich chocolaty tones.
It was shot on Kodak high speed infrared B&W film which is notoriously difficult to use, it was the first roll of this film I had shot and on the same roll, I also shot Ocean Drive 2.
These are two of my favourite pictures and work very well as a pair, they are framed identically with beautiful glossy black 'Nielsen' aliminium extrusion.
In todays digital world you will not see many hand printed photos this big on Artfinder.

acid free, archival, Nielsen black aluminium frame.
