Original artwork description:

A 36 x 48 x 1.5 inches large original seascape painting of a lady on a beach by a blue sea. The tiny figure stands at the edge of the white foam as the waves are pulling back. She is being drawn into the sea and the painting does have a real pull to it which makes it a little scary but also quite inviting. The water is turquoise, aqua and blue and the sand is pale. It is painted in thick paint in an expressionist semi abstract style. It reflects the feeling of fear mixed with fascination that the sea has and was inspired after a stay I had in Florida in January 2017. Most people love the sea and this it is because of the space plus energy that it gives to you when to look at it, smell the salt and listen to the rhythm of it. Painted on deep edge canvas, edges white, ready to hang, no frame needed.

Materials used:

oil
