Ocean Bed is an abstract contemporary seascape, capturing the calm feeling of looking into the sea water and observing the light reflecting. It is a modern interpretation of how people often retreat to the seaside to find peace and restoration whether on holiday or a day trip. The use of complex textural layering juxtaposes the sense of calm around the painting and adds to the mystery of the sea.
