As you know, Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine. This beautiful city is divided by the Dnieper River into the right and left banks. In any district, you can find the riverbank, and it's always picturesque. Today, I explored the Obolon district. It's a new area with modern buildings. And, of course, I went to the waterfront, where in the rays of the setting sun, I started painting my picture. At this time of day, shadows move very quickly, so you have to paint very fast. I love the traces left by the coarse bristles of my brush. Do you like paintings done with a coarse brush?

This etude was painted from life, located in Kyiv Ukraine. The painting is executed with high-quality oil paints on sturdy cardboard.
