The motives of my works are created by one connected line which helps me to connect the motives to their surroundings and feelings. I like to experiment with the unknown as it can lead me to new ideas and possibilities. Therefore, I often start with a monoprint or abstract shapes and work with the forms presented by it. The characters I discover within those randomly created frameworks may also change together with my mood. Meaning that most of the time I start my works with a rough idea about what I want to portray and how I want transport it. In the process I am lead by my gut that may even bring me to a totally different result. I really like this way of working as it pushes my inner self to unknown paths.
