Original artwork description:
After having lived in Senegal for some 10 years and then a couple of years in Spain, I moved to Sweden in 2022. What a change of scenery and climate! I had the opportunity to experience a nordic winter and observe vast snow covered landscapes. This painting was made from a quick sketch of Nyköping’s woodland. I had spent the afternoon sledging with my friend’s children when I observed the long shadows cast by the afternoon sun. I completed the painting later in the warmth of my studio.
This painting comes in a 33,5 x 23,5 x 3 cm floating frame.
