Artwork description:

A fleeting moment captured when hanging out of a New York taxi, before being shouted at by the driver. I have re-intrepreted the original i phone photograph by twisting the image and redrawing it onto a grounded zinc plate using an etching needle. I then added multiple techniques: soft ground for texture, aquatint for the deep flat tone and spit bite for the random pattern in the sky.

The plate is inked for each print which is handcrafted using an etching press so each number in the small limited edition is in effect an original.

Each print is numbered and signed at the front.

Orders are carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue, rolled into a thick-walled wide cylinder and dispatched signed and tracked within 7 days.
