Original artwork description:

I love the way the little nuthatch perches on a vertical surface. I am very lucky to see nuthatches sometimes in my British garden, and admire their antics.
This little painting is on a birch panel, which I have left unpainted around the edges and sides so that the beauty of the wood can be seen.
This painting could be hung as it is or put into a frame.
