An expressive monochromatic oil painting of a nude woman sitting with her back to the viewer. The rich colour of Burnt Sienna, deepened with some Burnt Umber, contrasts lovely with the light paper.
As a biologist I have good understanding of how our bodies are put together and this has inspired me to paint human figures.
