Artwork description:

Original signed reduction linocut print 'Nude seated', one of a limited edition of ten in total, in three colourways. The reduction relief printing process changes the original lino block as more layers are carved and printed, making it impossible to print any more. There are two prints available in this colourway. The print process involved three colours in oil-based inks. The image is approximately A5 size, printed on robust A4 paper.

I have an architectural degree and, for most of my life, have worked as an architectural designer. At one architectural practice, we were encouraged to attend life-drawing classes after work to keep our freehand drawing skills in. I have many nude sketches from these sessions, and one of them provided the inspiration for this design.
