The artist was inspired by a story of a wrongfully convicted woman who bargained away her freedom and was imprisoned in order to save her beloved man.

Gala dreamed of having a portrait by Egon Schiele. Unfortunately, they missed each other in time. But the sketches inspired by his work turned out to be interesting.
