Original artwork description:

When I saw Stephanie sitting in this position I wanted to paint her instantaneously. There was something extremely serene and gentle in the way she posed herself. Almost like she forgot that she was naked. Together with the fact that she was sitting on a chair from which fabrics were hanging loosely draped the whole scene seemed complete. I could have painted her from many angles but I chose one that was both revealing and hiding something a the same time. Now that I am looking at the painting I am wondering: what was she thinking about..
