NUDE FIGURE DRAWING. MIXED MEDIA ON CARTRIDGE PAPER.
This is an early figure drawing where I experiment with Indian ink, white acrylic and wax resist.
My current paintings of colourful figures in various settings such as gardens, are possible because of many years of experimenting with materials and techniques while drawing the life model.
My signature on the front is shortened - Jo as I was sometimes called in those days instead of Josephine, my full first name.

Indian ink, wax, white acrylic on cartridge paper.
