Painted at a life drawing session, I adore this piece because of the free and loose marks made on the paper, with a satisfying level of finish despite the constraints of being made in the life room. The colours blend and sing together very well, probably as a result of the rapidity and the immediacy of the model.

I love the marks of the tattoos on the skin, with the cherry tones, and the curves of the buttocks underneath the figure accentuated by lost-and-found lines made in ink.
