Autumn was slow to arrive this year, there have been very few frosts so far and plenty of trees still have most of their the leaves. The leaves are gradually turning golden and ochres the beech trees are a rusty colour and the Hazel yellow. There is still quite a lot of green in the landscape however. Splashes of Gold aims to capture the effect of autumn colour spreading over the landscape.
Splashes of Gold is painted on a deep canvas and presented ready to hang. Signed in pencil bottom right, titled signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box, enclosed with an artist's certificate. Dispatched with a track and trace identity.
