Pages on vintage pages from Treasure Island, an adventure novel by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson.

I am a contemporary artist whose recent work is thriving to create beautiful and intriguing imagery by inking carefully composed figures onto selected pages from known vintage books.

As a result of this juxtaposition my compositions radiate a sense of mysterious interaction between a narrative structure of body language and their superimposed presence on the book pages.

The intrigue is enhanced by the figures being turned away from the observer and towards the text.

All works are signed and are on good quality stretched canvas.
