Notification looks at social media in relation to tragic events. The picture is based on a profile picture/emoji. It is in a constant state of horror. the news flashes before it's eyes and is then passed on. It's many mouths symbolising it's reaction to each piece of tragedy which it feels the need to comment on and then pass on. It reflects the transient nature of social media. It doesn't have time to digest the horror of the event before it has to get it out to it's followers with it's own opinion tagged on.
