I find it hard to talk about myself, so I will share with you this paint, one of my most intimate things.
When I made this acrylic painting I wanted to play with the concept of emptiness.
Rather than expressing statements, perhaps it would be preferable to reason by questions.
Is a blank pages book really devoid of stories to tell?
Is the emptiness really such, or is it nothing more than a potential being? Or the condition for the being to be manifest? Or still, the very manifestation of the being through its absence?
Can different emptiness qualities and degrees exist and co-exist?
Personally, if I have to express myself and preferring an existential approach, I believe that emptiness is an essential condition from which to start and in which we have to learn how to return. We empty our mind so that we can fill our soul.
Let me close with a haiku by Tagami Kikusha, a Japanese poetess (1752-1826)
the spirit, the truth
of silent prayer -
just the moon on the road
To immerse ourselves in the spring waters of the being, we must first undress of all the dirty clothes of our ego.
Type: Abstract painting / Abstract art
Technique: Acrylic paint on canvas;
Canvas stretched on a wooden frame
This is a one of a kind painting, created and painted by me.
Signed on front and with a certificate of authenticity
