I love painting dogs and the fact that I can paint whatever makes me smile is what really gives me satisfaction and this French Bulldog is just the ticket! When I painted him I was fascinated with the concept of hiding or more to the point disguising our true feelings by wearing bunny ears (inspired by a psychopath in a film). You can be feeling as miserable or angry as ever but when donning bunny ears you look like you are having fun...although this fellow's face and t-shirt says otherwise!
He is painted with acrylic paints on a lovely deep edge stretched canvas measuring H24 x W18inches the edges are painted purple and he is ready to hang.

acrylic paint, satin varnish
