Artwork description:

This year I have seen so many images of people who have lost their homes or have had to escape their countries for whatever reason and these two figures express the pain I feel when I watch them trudge from one country to another, some with all their belongings on their back and some with nothing, some starving and some wounded physically or spiritually. The two figures are made to fit in the palms of the hands, to be warmed and comforted. They sit and lie next to each other and they can be moved around each other to change how they appear.
