Original artwork description:
A little inspiration from a great master, this painting was originally inspired by a photo someone sent me of Klimt’s "Apple Tree". I was compelled to paint a similar subject, but à la Claire. And so I painted this piece, which is perhaps closer to a blooming crab apple tree than an apple tree. And of course, it is much messier than Klimt would ever have painted. Throw in a little Joan Mitchell influence, and this is what I got!
