Original artwork description:

This mixed media landscape canvas of a scene inspired by a combination by visits to Scotland and also the Yorkshire moors.
It was made by using thin layers of oils, acrylics and inks onto a gesso ground. Areas of the painting were then lightly sanded and scratched away to enhance the texture and light effects.
The canvas is ready to hang with a hanging system of hooks and wire fixed to the back. The painting continues around the sides of the canvas for continuity.
