“When I looked at the book of Francisco Goya with a series of his engravings“ Caprichos ”(there are 80 of them!), I was stunned.
⠀
These Nasty, evil faces. Prostitutes. Witches. Fraudsters - sharp lines, merciless images.
⠀
80 engravings - 80 vices, superstitions, sins of society.
Stupidity. Vanity. Debauchery. Fraud. Slander.
⠀
Goya believed that art could change the world, and used his position to experience bureaucratic government institutions, stupid habits, and false ideas.
⠀
Time is running. But nothing changes. Therefore, many engravings Caprichos relevant today.
⠀
I wanted to interpret one of them in my own way, in the technique of collage.

The picture is made of "glossy-journals-scraps" in collage technique, is treated with a special protective varnish. Paper stretched on a wooden tablet.
It does not need to be framed, but you can do it.
