I have never been to the Scandinavian countries. I regret this because nature is magnificent there, and man, as a rule, does not enter into a struggle with it. He delicately and competently builds his dwellings into the surrounding landscape.
My good friend lives in Norway, in Tysnes. I drew this painting from a photograph she took and sent to me. Of course, with her permission.
I don't know what I liked more about this image: the landscape, which I considered unusual for Norway, or the pretty house itself. Probably all together.
And, of course, the reflections in the water are always pleasing to the eye.
I know that the Scandinavian style in the interior is trendy now.
But I did not paint this picture as a tribute to fashion.
And yet I want to say that such a picture is very suitable for decorating a discreet Scandinavian-style interior.
I dried the painting and varnished it.
