Lucky Pike is a fun and exciting painting by Jason E Doucette showing a large Northern Pike coming in for the strike on a lucky 7 fishing lure, a very common lure among fishermen. The subtle silhouettes of underwater foliage can be seen in the distance and the feeling of being underwater with the fish is amazing.
This piece is mounted onto a cradles art board and sealed with a cold wax medium making it water resistant and humidity resistant as well as fully archival. This way of displaying the art gives a very modern feel and resembles a gallery wrapped painting. This can always be displayed framed and behind glass if the purchaser is so inclined but is not needed.
