This is a 2017 painting of Northcote Road, based on photographs taken from the 319 bus.

This is an unsual view for me but the top deck of a bus is just about the only vantage point to see the whole of Northcote Road end to end.

The winter light is rendered in blues and browns and it is painted in a loose, impressionistic style.

This painting is in oil on a deep edge box canvas with painted sides and does not require framing.

30" x 20". Oil on deep edge box canvas.
