Original artwork description:
The North Sea coast in Lincolnshire has it's own individual beauty. There are miles and miles of sand and despite the number of busy resorts, I often feel that I have stepped back in time when I visit. The marsh and dunes give the area an individual character. It feels open, remote and often dramatic and on a hot day, the colours are as dazzling as anywhere in Britain. In 'North Sea Waves' I tried to capture the feeling of connection to time and tide and the natural landscape I get when standing on the shore and watching the waves roll up the beach.
The painting is oil on board and measures17cm x 37cm approx. It comes mounted in a white, recycled frame with glass which measures 41cm x 69 cm approx.
I post by Royal Mail signed for service. I send a message with proof of postage once a purchase is despatched.
