A picturesque view of a scenic moorland river or stream in the northern highlands of Scotland.
An atmospheric impressionist small Scottish mountain landscape painting inspired by moors and hills of wild highlands of Scotland. In this scenic artwork I have tried to convey the moody atmospheric light of early morning or late evening and remote scenery of the remote areas of the Britain, like Sutherland, Skye, Assynt, Coigach, Wester Ross or Caithness with their misty changeable weather and tranquil countryside views of moorland bog, small hills and quiet streams.
Painted in a a modern contemporary impressionistic style in muted autumnal colours and contrasting blue hills.

Painted using quality artists paint on a small square format 8" x 8" (20 x 20cm) canvas, with a varnish finish and white wooden frame with cord ready to hang.
