This is one of my early work which was influenced by China Northwest countryside life. I was living with these nice farmers for a month. Their houses called "YaoDong", have curved shape structure and unique stylized windows. These houses warm in winter,cool in summer. In this piece, I emphsized the lighting and shadows on the house structures. A little boy was hesitating at the door.
