Original artwork description:

The artwork stems from the observation of some stones collected by the artist during her walks in the Tuscan countryside. The artist is so attracted by these simple, smooth, imperfect shapes made of different materials that she makes them the protagonists of her work. The aim is to find beauty even in simple things and shapes.
The mixed technique on canvas is used by the artist to render this play of different colours and materials. The collage of tissue paper, pastels and inks is used in addition to acrylic colours.
