Original artwork description:

Oil on canvas, 100x70cm.
Year 2019

I discovered a new word: NOMOPHOBIA. The fear of being "disconnected". The anxiety caused by addiction to phones and social networks. We are all nomophobic, and we do not realize, by staying bent over our smartphones, the world outside the screen. Always too much online, and not much in reality. We ignore the people who are physically close to us, and we forget to observe what is happening around us. Social media as a "new faith", so fanatic as to be almost religious.

Materials used:

Oil on canvas
