I've always loved hotel rooms: the discovery of a new place, a new view, the absence of daily occupants, which often leads to a minimalist decor. Last May, I spent a few days in Paris in a hotel near Saint Augustin. One night, when my wife and daughter were already asleep, the lights from the kitchenette cut through the room and illuminated an almost empty half of the living room. Like a temporary office still life (kitchen cloth, bottle of water, laptop plug).
