I live close to the Ashdown Forest, in Sussex. Think Winnie the Pooh country, think vast areas of brushland, with gorse bushes and open land, part with roaming sheep, part a mecca for dog walkers and ramblers.
This painting is a view over part of the forest at night. In the far distance I could see lights from a neighbouring village. The night sky turning everything to ink.
I have painted this evocative scene on twice primed artists quality postcard - Langton 300gsm 140lb cold pressed NOT paper. It comes double mounted and framed in a dark wooden frame, ready to hang.
