A one layer linocut print I created in response to the Royal Academy summer exhibition 2022 theme ‘Climate’ - a redundant chimney stack and TV aerial juxtaposed with lifeless winter branches.
I love the angular shape of chimney aerials and the way they stand out against the sky so this was the perfect opportunity to bring it together with my other loved subjects of architecture, bricks and nature.
Materials used:
Oil based relief printing ink, Okawara Japanese paper
