My summer series is a collection of elements (line, colors, and shapes) that were carefully designed and arranged in order to reflect the essence of its theme: summertime.

Swimming, surfing, snorkeling, floating, lounging, relaxing, ocean views, smell of salt water in the air, trips to Hawaii, tropical cocktails, sun-soaking, and LOTS of sunscreen...

Painting wraps onto the deep outer sides for a fun, continuous look.

Note: this painting has color only wrapping 1/2" over the corners in the center. Both canvases are intended to hang against one other ... touching with no spacing in between ... as this is a diptych (meaning to hang as one painting, not two individual paintings) and is not a set of two paintings that can be re-arranged.
