During the first U.K. lockdown last spring I noticed that birds and wildlife were far braver than before.. less humans I guess. My studio is part of a antique emporium in the cotswolds with a back door backing on there yard. This robin got braver and braver until it sat on the doorstep a couple of times singing. Is always such a special feeling when we brush close to natures world.
Painted using casein and lime plasters and a wonderful deep crackle that try as I may I’ve not managed to reproduce.
